HindiUSA St. Louis Begins Its 9th Year!

August 28, 2026 Mayank Jain St. Louis Hindi School

On August 28, HindiUSA St. Louis proudly started the 2026–27 school year, marking our 9th year in St. Louis with 230+ students, 40 volunteer teachers & 10 youth teacher / volunteers!

Our Day 1 tradition continued with students creating beautiful Ganesh Ji art, while parents attended our orientation. We introduced our five school committees, and new parents learned about foreign language credits, the Seal of Biliteracy, HindiUSA programs and policies, and our online Learning Management System (LMS).

This year, Day 1 was even more special with our first-ever Raksha Bandhan celebration at HindiUSA St. Louis! We welcomed members of our local West County EMS & Fire, while our youth volunteers explained the meaning and significance of Raksha Bandhan. Our youth girls tied Rakhis to our first responders and shared Indian sweets as a gesture of gratitude for their service to our community.

And, of course, the evening ended on a sweet note with donuts for our students, youth volunteers, and teachers!

A wonderful beginning to another year of Hindi, culture, community, and service!
