6th वार्षिक कविता पाठ प्रतियोगिता- सेंट लुईस” ( 6th Annual Hindi Poetry Competition )

HindiUSA Saint Louis, a non profit Hindi School in America,  organized 6th Annual Hindi Poetry Competition on January 20, 2024. The event was held at cultural auditorium of Hindu Temple of Saint Louis at Ballwin, MO, USA.

 It was a very unique and midwest USA’s largest Hindi Poetry Competition. Kids and volunteers celebrated “World Hindi Day” by singing many popular Hindi Poems such as “Khoob Ladi Mardani wo to jhasi”, “Tum mujhko kab tak rokoge” and many more! The competition was made free and open to the public. 
 
The Hindi poetry completion was a grand success, more than 120 students participated to recite their poems in Hindi. 28 student earned top spots across 8 different Hindi grade levels. Winners of the event now qualify to compete at HindiUSA’s inter-school national level competetion to be held in March 2024. 

Students showed their talent & creativity by wearing costumes and props to recite their poems.  All the participants received medals & the winners received trophies.
To keep the competition fair, unbiased, and entertaining. Dr. Anshu and Mayank Jain founder & school coordinator decided to invite five judges from the community. The program was divided into two segments and two judges were assigned to each segements. Food vendors were invited to sell street-style food and banarasi saree vendors to sell ethnic outfits. The judges were Mr. Vishwakant Tripathi, Dr. Mira Jain, Mr. Ashok Gangawani, Dr. Pradeep Singh, and his wife Mrs. Suman Rausaria.

Hindi USA Saint Louis extends their heartfelt appreciation and acknowledges the following teachers & volunteers for all their hard work & commitment. Without their support this poetry competition would not be a grand success.
